A note from Hannah’s Mom and Dad:
We just returned from spending the weekend at camp with Hannah. Hannah’s Mom is an Alumni and we were invited to spend the weekend at camp along with other families who had been campers there once upon a time. The weekend ended with Visitor’s Day for Hannah’s group and the plan all along was for Hannah to return home with us on Sunday. When we arrived at camp on Friday evening, after the hugs and some tears from all of us, the first words out of Hannah’s mouth were, “I want to stay.” She is having a great time ~ making friends and memories of her own there that will last her a lifetime ~ just like it was for me.
Here is a snapshot of our weekend together with her. She’ll be back with her own update in another 10 days.
Hannah, I saw you at Gesher many times over the Alumni Weekend and you were almost always smiling — especially when you were tubing! It was great to see you and Zohar (that’s my daughter) and so many kids doing the dances your mom and I did all those years ago (and we remember most of them). I am looking forward to hearing about the last ten days of Gesher 2012 when you get back.
